Before coming to Portadown in 1984 Pastor Clifford Morrison served as Pastor of Kilkeel Baptist for over 8 years. From 1971-76 he was Pastor of Ballyclare Baptist. He is a graduate of the Bible College of Wales.

He is married to Margaret, a nursing auxiliary in the local hospital and they have three grown up children.

He served the association of churches for many years as Chairman of the Baptist Missions committee and also during his year as president of the Association of Baptist Churches in Ireland (1999-2000).

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his grand children and walking his golden retriever, called Ben.

He has interest in many sports and is a keen follower of Waringstown Cricket Club where he serves in his capacity as chaplain.
